The Penthouse Studio, a chic little pied-à-terre atop the hill-side, is conveniently located on the northern fringe of downtown Cuenca from where it’s either a 20 minute walk to reach the heart of the city - the leafy Parque Calderon - or a 5 minute taxi ride.

The studio is a compact space at just 80 square meters. Just take the elevator to the 6th floor and then walk up one flight. The rooftop apartment is a streamlined retreat from the busy streets of Cuenca and exudes peace and quiet in a relaxed and cosmopolitan atmosphere. The Modernist design is crisp and clean and dominated by 180 degrees of wraparound, floor-to-ceiling plate glass windows. 

You will find the Penthouse Studio is a thoughtful and well designed compact space. The open plan living room has a large dining area as well as a couple of comfy laid back sofas and matching ottoman. There is also a full guest bathroom which is convenient when entertaining.

The bedroom with a queen bed which is on the western side of the building with a beautiful view of the mountains, has a spacious en suite bathroom with shower over bath, Jacuzzi tuband  dual hand sinks and walk-in hanging and storage space. 

The galley kitchen on the east, has a more intimate view over the neighborhood as well as generous granite countertops and all modern conveniences  for making your own meals. The kitchen adjoins a separate laundry with washer and dryer. 3 LP tanks support the dryer, hot water heater and gas stove and oven.

The Apartment comes completely furnished with all bed linens, towels, washcloths and the kitchen is outfitted with all cooking utensils, pots, pans, dishes, cups, bowls and plates. Included is a Microwave, Toaster oven, Toaster, Blender, coffee maker and coffee grinder. A vacuum cleaner and cleaning supplies are also included. as is a washing machine and dryer and a gas heater for those chilly mornings.

For your entertainment there is a 32" television, DVD player and a stereo radio that also plays CDs. along with a complement of DVDs and CDs for your enjoyment .
